Job DescriptionThe HR/Admin Executive will support daily HR and administrative operations, ensuring smooth workforce management and compliance within the maritime and shipping environment. The role requires experience in the shipping or logistics sector, familiarity with UAE labor laws, and a proactive approach to employee relations, documentation, and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate recruitment processes, including posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies.
- Manage attendance records, leave balances, and payroll coordination.
- Address employee queries and grievances, acting as the point of contact for HR matters.
- Prepare and handle shipping-related documentation, including permits, clearances, and trade licenses.
- Schedule and organize meetings, events, and travel arrangements for staff and management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in HR or admin roles, preferably within the shipping, logistics, or maritime sectors.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Languages: Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
