  • Determining material requirements andconstruction techniques based on designspecifications.
  • Constructing steel frames,supports, columns, concrete reinforcements, and other steelstructures.
  • Transporting steel elements to theconstruction site and demarcating offloading and workingareas.
  • Preparing for installation by measuring,cutting, aligning, and placing steelstructures.
  • Positioning steel girders, columns,and supports using cranes and hoistingmethods.
  • Verifying the alignment of steelelements with the use of levels, plumb bobs, and lasersights.
  • Installing steel infrastructure bybolting, wiring, and welding elements together according to thedesign specifications.
  • Ensuring that all healthand safety measures are adhered to.
  • Performingmaintenance and repairs to existing steel frames and structures, asneeded.
