Bachelor s degree in Education or a relevant subjectRecognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, teaching licence or equivalentMinimum 2 years of recent teaching experienceExperience teaching the relevant subject at Secondary levelExperience within an international school environment would be advantageousStrong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessonsExperience with Cambridge IGCSE and/or AS/A Level would be advantageousExperience with the American curriculum and AP courses would be an advantageStrong understanding of assessment and using data to monitor and improve student progressAbility to differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and learning needsStrong classroom management skills and high expectations of student behaviour and achievementCommitment to high standards of teaching, learning and student progressAbility to work effectively as part of an international teaching teamStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to safeguarding and student wellbeingWillingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school communityExperience working with students from diverse cultural backgroundsPrevious UAE or GCC experience would be advantageous
