  • Liaison with Authorities: Act as theprimary contact for regulatory bodies, addressing compliance issuesand staying updated on regulatorychanges.
  • Contractor Oversight: Monitor andaudit contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance withEmirates' quality standards and develop correctiveactions.
  • Trend Analysis and Reporting: Analysedata to identify trends and risks, resulting from Compliance Teamevents’ investigations, and report findings andrecommendations to senior management.
  • ManpowerPlanning: Ensure the Compliance Monitoring department iswell-staffed with skilled personnel.
  • HumanFactors Strategy: Implement strategies to enhance human factors inengineering and promote a culture of responsibility andexcellence.
  • Team Management: Lead and developthe Compliance Monitoring team, ensuring they are well-equipped toconduct investigations and enforce quality and safetymeasures.

Qualifications&Experience

Thisjob might be for you if you have:

  • Degree in Aeronautical Engineering orAirline Management or must hold or have held Maintenance EngineerLicense or Commercial Pilot License or have worked within thequality/compliance area of an airline or at a maintenancefacility.
  • 12+ years’ experience inEngineering/ Maintenance or Commercial Aircraft Operationorganisation including Management of Quality Assurance (QA) and/orSafety Management experience of which 3 years in Senior Managementlevel in a Safety and Compliance role.
  • Thoroughunderstanding of regulatory frameworks and associated regulationssuch as CAR/EASA M, 145, 21, 147, Air Ops/Ops 1, STD, ATO, ORA andother relevant regulatory approvalcodes.
  • Knowledge of the principles andimplementation of Quality and Safety Managementsystems.
  • A proven track record of goodcommunications across divisionalboundaries.
  • Airline and Airport ManagementBusiness knowledge and how QA influences results and achievementswithin maintenance, engineering, operations and ground handlingactivities and their contribution to the overallsuccess.
  • Strong report writing and analyticalskills.
