Join to apply for the Administration Officer - Emergency Operations Room role at UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) .
Responsibilities- Provide daily operational and tactical support within the Emergency Operation in line with organizational and national policies, standards and requirements.
- Prepare and handle the required documents and event history at the beginning and ending of every shift.
- Monitor current trends in emergencies on a daily basis.
- Cover shifts at the Authority's platform within the National Operations Center (if required).
- Undertake daily health checks on the communications devices, channels and means.
- Support communications and correspondence with regards to crisis management.
- Support early warning process to initiate stakeholder engagement for managing the crisis.
- Maintain constant touch and relationship with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in crisis exercises, simulation tests, seminars and trainings.
- Organise and maintain comprehensive records of relevant reports, minutes of meetings and general documents to ensure an accurate record and evidence base using the standard system.
- Receive, classify, issue, consolidate and/or summarise documents, information, as well as maintaining records of documents processed to ensure compliance with standards.
- Follow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
