The Contracts andProject Manager job responsibilities are split between two supplychain related roles:

As a Contracts Manager,the candidate will be responsible for performing a wide variety ofcontract management activities, including contract processing,administration and management of contract files and relatedworkflows, negotiating contracts, drafting and editing masteragreements, statements of work, contract amendments, and othercontract-related documents. This role will work closely with Legal,Finance, Engineering/Quality, and Factory Operations to support thedevelopment, approval, and execution of contract documents. Thecandidate will manage the contract lifecycle from cradle tograve.

As a SC Project Manager, the candidatewill be responsible for supporting and/or leading various supplychain related projects or activities that may range from trackingand improving supplier performance, developing new and/or improvedsupply chain processes to improve internal or external efficiency,supporting and/or developing HP/supplier sustainability programs,and other SC related program support as needs presentthemselves.

The Contracts and Project Managerwill report to the manager of the Contracts and Strategic ProgramManagement team, which is within the Personal Systems Procurementand Business Development(PSDB).

Responsibilities AndExpectations

  • Work on a team of other ContractManagers and Program/Project Managers
  • Consultand support PSDB organization related to contract development,approval, and execution, ensuring adherence to the PSDB ContractsInitiation and Approval Process
  • Leadnegotiations, creates, prepares, issues contracts using HP contracttemplates
  • Draft, review, edit and negotiatevarious contract types and amendments
  • Interpretand apply contracting principles, applicable laws, regulations, andpolicies and procedures
  • Partners with commoditymanagers within the procurement organization to ensure propercontract process initiation and approval process is followed aswell as provide guidance/consultation to those commodity managersas necessary on contractual terms
  • Lead and/orsupport supplier performance tracking andreporting
  • Lead and/or support various supplychain related programs/projects
  • Openness andflexibility to accept and perform a wide variety of job assignmentsas needed to support team and broader organizationcharters

Education AndExperience

  • Bachelor's degree in businessadministration or similar field. Master's degree is aplus
  • Contract management and/or strategicoutsourcing management is a plus
  • Experiencewith SAP/Ariba contracts management system is aplus
  • Ability to organize and manage multiplepriorities
  • Familiar with procurement processes,bidding regulations and policies, supplier management processes,etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communicationskills.
  • Adhere to reporting deadlines andcomplete work assignments in an accurate and timelymanner
  • Self-motivated with ability to focus ontasks and projects with limited to nosupervision.
  • Excellent logical thinking anddata analysis, able to identify business issues through data andprovide relevant solutions
  • Must be proficientin MS Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, PowerBI, Microsoft Project, SharePoint and MicrosoftTeams
