  • Synchronizes arrival and departureground activities of the aircraft, by leading and briefing loadingteams on the handling requirements and below-wing supportactivities, ensuring adherence to the company’sSOPs.
  • Lead a team of handlingagents
  • Ensures conformance to the internationalsafety, quality and environmental management policies, proceduresand controls to ensure a healthy and safe workenvironment.
  • Commences aircraft damage checkand ensures that the airline representatives and flight safetyofficer are timely informed.
  • Manage all loadcontrol functions for each flight, ensuring the aircraft remainswithin operational limits with regard to weight &balance.
  • Manage ramp operations with all safetyrelated issues including loading/unloading of cargo and aircraftservicing such as external power, potable water, catering andtoilet servicing.
  • Ensure all cargo/mail isinspected for suitability for transport including special loads,such as Dangerous Goods, Live Animals, etc. are loaded correctlyand checked as per company regulations, provide signed NOTOC tocrew Act as point of liaison for 3rd party service providers,ensuring that resources provided are aligned with theSLA.
  • Manage onboard loading within allcompartments including in-plane systems, restraints and nets toensure all load is secured for flight as per the Company policiesand procedures Support operating crew with onboard cabin safetyincluding cabin/main deck door operation, assist with emergencies,supernumeraries(persons accompanying the cargo) traveling withcargo including livestock
  • Ensure thatopportunities to optimize cargo revenue are identified and deliveredvia load planning and efficient load control Focal point with NOC toensure aircraft departs on time to minimize operational costs andcoordination in the event of flightdisruption.
  • Responsible for the security of theAC on the ground and in the air by ensuring appropriate securitychecks are carried out in the cabin as per requirement, as wellimplementing access control while the AC is in service, making sureno prohibited articles or unauthorized personnel are on board theAC.
  • Responsible to fly on board cargo aircraftin the role of loadmaster and manage the turnaround of flights atdeparture, arrival and any en-routeairports.
  • Manage the aircraft turnaroundincluding weight and balance, ramp operations, onboard loadingincluding systems, aircraft door operations, onboard cabin safetyand security support, aircraft servicing including potable water,toilet servicing and catering.
  • Is the seniorpoint of liaison for third party ramp operations ensuring that theground handling requirements and standards are met at alltimes.
