General Description ofRole and Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Project Director the Quality Managerwill have overall responsibility for quality management systems ofthe Projects assigned.
- It is expected that theQuality Manager will be a technical leader in the field fosteringproactive positive behaviors.
- The QualityManager will also exhibit broader leadership meaning that he willactively engage with internal and external stakeholders at thehighest levels and be recognized as a significant authority forQA/QC matters.
- Develop QA/QC strategies andplans and prepare QA/QC documentation including flow diagramsprocess maps and procedures
- Act as an internalfocal point and subject matter expert for all quality relatedmatters within the assignment.
- Support theimplementation of the relevant standards.
- Provide insight to clients which they value to supportthe improvement of the clients quality culture and enhance thepolicy.
- Guided by project director and inconjunction with the staff shall manage the preparing andmaintenance of procedures and manuals covering all the projectaspects.
- Responsible for process improvementfor the projects assigned related to project planning projectcontrol management of communication and risk.
- Coach and train employees in quality management andcontrol procedures. Support Project Director in Identifying andmitigating project risks.
- If required supportthe use of digitization strategy for project control processsoftware systems and tools.
- Develop documentmanagement system configuration documents and protocols
- Informs themselves of the relevant Quality EnvironmentalSafety and Occupational Health Policies Manuals and Procedures inplace within Hill International and ensures continued compliancewith these requirements while employed by Hill.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the linemanager/supervisor.
QualificationsExperience Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelors Degree inEngineering.
- Post Graduate education such as aMSC is highly desired.
- At least fifteen yearsof experience in a similar role; Extensive experience of leading orexecuting project controls elements isrequired.
- Ability to think ahead identify newopportunities and create new and innovative approaches to workrelated issues.
- Candidates should possessstrong technical skills in quality and be excellent communicatorsat all levels.
- The role requires excellentinterpersonal skills including the ability to influence seniormanagement and deal with all stakeholders in challengingsituations.
- Fluency in Arabic is a requirementfor this position.
