RoleOverview:As the Workshop Superintendent you will beresponsible for the overall management and operations of ourfabrication workshop. You will lead a team of skilled techniciansand craftsmen to ensure the timely and costeffective completion offabrication projects while maintaining the highest standards ofsafety and quality.

KeyResponsibilities:

1. WorkshopManagement:
   • Overseeall activities within the fabrication workshop including schedulingresource allocation and workflowmanagement.
   • Ensure compliance with companypolicies procedures and safety standards at alltimes.
   • Optimize workshop efficiency andproductivity through effective planning andorganization.
2. TeamLeadership:
   • Leadmotivate and mentor a team of technicians welders fabricators andother workshop personnel.
   • Provide guidance andsupport to employees fostering a culture of collaborationaccountability and continuousimprovement.
   • Conduct regular performanceevaluations and training programs to enhance employee skills andcompetencies.
3. ProjectCoordination:
   • Collaboratewith project managers and engineering teams to plan and executefabrication projects according to client specifications anddeadlines.
   • Monitor project progress andidentify any potential issues or delays taking proactive measuresto address them effectively.
   • Ensure that allfabrication work meets quality standards and regulatoryrequirements.
4. ResourceAllocation:
   • Allocatemanpower equipment and materials efficiently to meet projectdemands and optimize resourceutilization.
   • Coordinate with procurement andlogistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials andsupplies for fabrication activities.
   • Monitorinventory levels and manage stock levels to minimize waste andmaintain adequatesupplies.
5. HealthandSafety:
   • Promotea culture of safety awareness and adherence to HSE (Health Safetyand Environment) regulations and bestpractices.
   • Conduct regular safety inspectionsand audits to identify hazards and implement correctiveactions.
   • Investigate accidents and incidentsand develop preventive measures to mitigate futurerisks.
6. QualityAssurance:
   • Implementquality control procedures to ensure that fabricated products meetindustry standards and clientrequirements.
   • Conduct inspections and teststhroughout the fabrication process to identify defects anddeviations from specifications.
   • Documentquality issues and nonconformities and take corrective actions toaddress thempromptly.
