GeneralDescription of Role andResponsibilities:

  • Internalteam liaison to ensure coordination between all disciplinesrelevant to master planning (feasibility architectureinfrastructure and delivery)
  • Development ofland use datasets with design understanding of various land useproducts all type of traffic network and circulation types of openspaces and current real estate development trends and productsupdates.
  • Review master plan deliverablesduring all master plan stages and familiar with DMT (Abu DhabiDepartment of Municipality and Transportation) planning requirement(Vision PCMP Framework CMP and DMP etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with DMT and relevantstakeholders requirements.
  • Coordinate withexternal consultants to:

  • Review master plandeliverables during all master plan stages and be familiar with DMTplanning requirement; review drawing submittals to ensure theyalign with approved project briefs.

QualificationsExperience Knowledge andSkills:

  • A Masters orBachelors degree in Master Planning Urban Design Architecture UrbanPlanning or related fields.
  • Advanced degrees inUrban Design or Landscape Architecture will be an addedadvantage.
  • 68 years experience in real estatedesign & development including leadership roles in managingteams and projects.
  • Minimum 3 years experiencein the Middle East especially in the UAE/ GCCRegion.
  • A diverse design portfolio showcasingmultiple projects.
  • Ability to manage multipleproject timelines simultaneously andmeticulously.
  • Understanding land use andproducts with nonrevenue versus revenue generationpotential.
  • Proficiency in relevant designsoftware and tools including MS Office Adobe Creative Suite AutoCADand 3D modeling (SketchUp or Revit).
  • Knowledgean awareness of current design trends andtechnologies.
  • Strong presentation interpersonaland public speaking skills.
  • Capacity tomaintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information withdiscretion.
  • Strong commitment to maintainingindustry standards and regulations.
  • Willingnessto adapt to new technologies and tools in the designprocess.
  • Commitment to continuous learning andprofessional development.
  • Fluency in English ismandatory; proficiency in Arabic isbeneficial.

  • Proven experience working with and leadingmultidisciplinary teams that include members from Business PlanningMaster Planning Design Project Management Procurement andCommercial functions.

  • Proficiencyin Urban Design and Master Planning best practices and latesttrends.
