Simulation Lab Technician

Bachelor of Science in Nursing/ BiomedicalEngineering or any bachelor with IT/medical equipment experience.Experience working in a simulation lab.
• Twoyears of experience in nursing education/clinical nursinginstruction, with the ability to create a supportive learningenvironment for students. Experience in simulation lab coordinationis desirable.

KNOWLEDGE &SKILLS:

• Knowledge ofrelevant health professions principles, practices (patient safety,universal safety precautions, personal protective equipment etc.)and adult education theory.
• Strongunderstanding of the technical aspects of simulation equipment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology andprocedures to effectively support and operate simulation equipmentin a healthcare simulation center.
• Knowledgeof instructional design principles, including adult learningtheory, to develop and deliver effective simulation-based trainingprograms.
• Strong interpersonal skills toeffectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders,including instructors, learners, and technical supportstaff.
• Collaborate effectively withinterdisciplinary teams to plan and implement simulation-basededucational and training programs.
• Strongattention to detail to ensure that simulation equipment isfunctioning properly, data is accurately recorded, and simulationscenarios are executed as intended.
• Strongorganizational skills to manage simulation equipment, schedules,and data effectively.
• Ability to utilizeAudio-Visual equipment, proficiency in learning managementplatforms, and familiarity with student databasesystems.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, andAdobe for the purpose of maintaining inventory and orderingsupplies.
