Dams Leader

FunctionalResponsibilities:

• Industry recognition as leader in thefield of dams (or dams and hydropower)engineering.
• Lead the recruitment of Dams& Hydropower staff in US West and integrate them into ourDams Service Line and the GHD business morebroadly
• Assist in recruiting Dams &Hydropower staff across North America.
• Workwith GHD leaders to grow market share in dams and hydropower forGHD in US West and North America morebroadly.
• Work with our Dams &Hydropower leaders globally to develop and execute strategic plansfor growth of our Dams & Hydropower business in NorthAmerica.
• Manage and serve as Project/ProgramManager of Dams & Hydropower projects in NorthAmerica.
• Provide technical leadership in designof dams and hydropower projects and other associated servicesincluding dam safety.
• Develop clientrelationships, identify opportunities and lead pursuits, lead andinput to proposals and undertake other business developmentpractices as necessary to build our dams and hydropowerpractice.
• Ongoing compliance withGHD’s Quality, Environmental Management and OccupationalHealth Safety & RehabilitationSystems.
• Manage projects including scope,schedule, budgets, amendments, risk, andquality.
• Work directly with the North Americanand Global Dams & Hydropower groups and be willing and ableto travel nationally and internationally as required forprojects.
• Work with our Dams &Hydropower leaders globally to integrate international resourcesonto projects and collaborate in delivery ofprojects
