PURPOSE OF JOB

The senior product designer is responsible to develop designscrafting user journeys and utilise the Fab design system to craftnew journeys for the Mobile banking application. In order to ensurethat the efforts are managed correctly they will work hand on handwith other design team members as well as product owners to ensurethat experiences are crafted correctly and cost effectively. Alsoto develop new ideas that could enhance the experience of themobile application journey and digital products as well as ensurethat as an individual they are helping FAB stay up to date withvarious future banking initiatives.

JOB KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

A University degree in Design relatedstudies or the equivalent

Handson in agiledevelopment methodology

Experience of minimum 7years in designing mobile and web apps

Strongknowledge if UX processes

Good knowledge ofdigital strategy

Previous exposure buildingexperiences for banking or other financial institutes

Good understanding of how design experiences translateinto technology requirements.

Experience withFigma Miro Protopie.

Exposure to basic HTML /CSS

Ability to set design requirements based onteam briefings customer requirements and user research.

Manage implementation of new experiences through themobile application

Analyse and understand hownew experiences and product amendments satisfy market needs andconditions.

Work closely with the productengineers to suggest improvements for products andprocesses.

Must have good knowledge of bestpractices in IOS and Android design

Must haveexperience in building and managing design systems

Creative problemsolving skills

Recommend new tools and technologies that will enhance FAB Mobileexperience

Dynamic and creative personality aswell as effective at engaging and influencing variousaudiences.

Fluent in oral and written Englishworking knowledge of Arabic is a plus

ACCOUNTABILITY

The degree or level ofthe job accountabilities is dependent upon the grade of theJobholder in the Jobholder position. The job accountabilities forthe Jobholder include but are not limited to thefollowing:

Develop newexperiences based of the documented requirements

Design & maintain FAB Mobile and web designs

Knowledge and ability to suggest and applychanges to the UX flows and processes

Experience UX practices such as testing and validationmethods.

Issues detection tracking resolutionand management as well as reporting to head of design

Build proof of concept examples

Workwith head of design on grooming the backlog andprioritisation

Document log track and reportissues on a daily basis.

Document test cases& coordinate QA testing and product owners

Document change implementation details for release within thedesign team

Handover knowledge to relevantproduct owners
