Overview Of TheRole

The QualityAdvisor provides guidance and advice in regard tothe effective management of Quality Assurance and Quality Control(QA/QC), delivering quality management and improvement support toall projects and Functions within the designated area ofresponsibility.

The Quality Advisor providessupport to the relevant Quality Manager and his/her team in themaintenance and control of processes, procedures, work methods andinitiatives in support of the Company's overall Qualitystrategies.

This is astaff-based role in Dubai-UAE

Specific KeyResponsibilities & Activities

  • Integral in evaluating and addressingsupplier quality requirements that are identified in invitations tobid.
  • Identifying risk related to SupplierQuality Management, ensuring adequate surveillance is in place andfollowed through to the completion of interested scope ofwork.
  • Assess Subcontractors and Vendorscapability to meet the Quality requirements of theProject.
  • Ensure project quality requirementscompliance for procurement phase of the project and effectiveimplementation of the project quality managementsystem.
  • Coordination, preparation,establishment, and implementation of the Project's SupplierQuality requirements.
  • Review of procurementrelated documents (RFQ, PR, TBE,etc.).
  • Arranging Vendor Pre-Inspection Meetings& Kick off Meetings.
  • Preparation ofaudit plan & focusassessment.
  • Monitoring Procurement Inspectionstatus.
  • Coordinate with COMPANY regardingprocurement related activities.
  • TPI managementfor inspection activities at vendorpremises.
  • Appraises product quality inaccordance with the Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions,Technical Specifications, drawings and QualityPlans.
  • Review of Manufacturing Data book aftercompletion of purchase order.
  • Prepare weeklyand monthly reports as per projectrequirements.
  • Identify non-quality trends andadvise Supplier Quality Manager and Project Quality Manager forresolution.
  • Establish effective corrective,preventive measures, and corrective action plan to ensure thatdeficiencies do not re-occur.
  • Ensure lessonsidentified and recorded for Internal Quality Failures and SupplierPerformance Issues.
  • Support cost control teamwith supporting documentation for invoicingpurposes.

Key Qualification AndExperience

  • Experience of the subsea, offshore ora related industry.
  • Broad depth of QualityManagement knowledge.
  • Good level of generaleducation required, preferably supported by a diploma/degree inEngineering/Quality Management.
  • Broadunderstanding of Subsea products andoperations.
  • Technical qualityexperience/capability.
  • Good understanding ofsupply chain management principals.
  • Certifiedlead auditor qualification.
  • Willing to travelboth domestically/ internationally onshore /offshore up to 30 % ofthe time.
