Our company is looking for a highly skilled Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating a variety of eye conditions and diseases, as well as conducting surgeries when necessary. Key Responsibilities Perform thorough eye examinations to diagnose and treat various ophthalmic conditions. Manage and treat eye disorders including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, among others. Carry out surgical procedures such as cataract surgery, LASIK, and other corrective surgeries. Consult with patients to discuss diagnoses and treatment plans, providing education and support. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, complying with all healthcare regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development and keep abreast of advances in ophthalmology. Evaluate and improve clinical practices to enhance patient outcomes. Medical degree with a specialization in Ophthalmology. Current and valid medical license to practice ophthalmology. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Consultant Ophthalmologist role. Proven expertise in performing a variety of ophthalmic surgical procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose ocular conditions effectively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to continuous learning and remaining updated with advancements in ophthalmology. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
