The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

We are seeking an experienced senior accountant to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and team collaboration to drive our organization's financial success.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in accounting, including financial reporting and monthly closing. At least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, CMA, or ACCA is a plus.
  • Availability: Available immediately
  • Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices and financial regulations.
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting, IFRS, audit coordination, and ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in advanced reporting and handling monthly/annual financial closings.
  • Strong analytical & financial reporting skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and support team objectives.
  • Proficiency in general ledger management.

Job Description:

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

  • Manage and oversee the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements preparation.
  • Manage general ledger activities and ensure accuracy in recording financial transactions.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings with accurate reporting to management.
  • Oversee tax compliance, cash flow management, and financial controls.
  • Lead the year-end audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and UAE regulations.
  • Prepare advanced financial reports and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead and support a team, fostering a productive team environment.
