Head of Membership Museum

We are excited toannounce that a new role has come up for a Head of Memberships which will be instrumental intransitioning the Museum in one of the GCC countries. This new roleis crucial in building and leading their Membership Department fromthe ground up. The Head of Memberships will report to the GeneralManager of Legal and Strategic Affairs and will be responsible forestablishing and growing our membership program. Furthermore theHead of Memberships will develop a comprehensive strategy for theirmembership program lead its implementation and build a qualifiedteam. This role requires an experienced candidate with a museumbackground and a proven track record in membershipmanagement.
- Developa comprehensive strategy for establishing and growing themembership program aligning with the organizations mission visionandgoals.
- Conductmarket research and analysis to identify target audiences industrytrends and competitive landscape to inform membership programdevelopment.
- Designthe membership structure including membership tiers benefitspricing and eligibility criteria tailored to meet the needs andpreferences of potentialmembers.
- Leadthe implementation of the membership program including developingpolicies procedures and systems for membership acquisitiononboarding engagement andretention.
- Developand execute marketing and promotional campaigns to raise awarenessof the membership program attract new members and drive membershipgrowth.
- Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams including marketing communications andoperations to integrate membership initiatives with overallorganizational strategies andactivities.
- Identifyand cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances with relevantorganizations associations and stakeholders to enhance the valueproposition of the membershipprogram.
- Developand implement programs events and initiatives to engage membersfoster a sense of community and provide valueadded benefits andservices.
- Establishkey performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor theeffectiveness and success of the membership program regularlyevaluating performance and making datadriven adjustments asneeded.
- Developand manage the budget for the membership program ensuring optimalallocation of resources to achieve program goals andobjectives.
Requirements
Tobe considered for this role you need to meet the followingcriteria:
- Bachelorsdegree in business administration marketing communications orrelated field. Masters degreepreferred.
- Provenexperience in program development membership management or relatedroles with a minimum of 6 years in a leadershipcapacity.
- Strategicthinker with a track record of developing and implementingsuccessful membership programs or initiatives from inception toexecution.
- Strongunderstanding of membership models best practices and trends in themembershipindustry.
- Excellentproject management skills with the ability to manage multipleprojects simultaneously and drive results within establishedtimelines.
- Exceptionalcommunication and interpersonal skills with the ability toeffectively engage and influence stakeholders at alllevels.
- Analyticalmindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation toinform decisionmaking and programoptimization.
- Abilityto work collaboratively in a crossfunctional team environment andbuild strong relationships with internal and externalstakeholders.
