JobPurpose:

Themain responsibility for the Sr. Application Support Specialist /Application Owner resource is to provide necessary technicalsupport relating to various applications and systemlevel software.

Accountabilityand SkillsRequired:

  • Possessingspecialist knowledge of systems applications and their associatedhardware and networkinfrastructures
  • Owningthe change management process from initiation of change to analysisimplementation androllout
  • Maintaincontracts and Licenses against applications and theirvendors
  • MonitoringSLA achievement levels of incidents and support requests forapplications
  • Conductingtechnical review for the changerequests
  • Validationof health check reports from vendorspartners
  • Ensuresolutions are compliant with clients technical standards andgovernance and communicate ITDresponses
  • Deliveringregular and customized training toteams
  • Prepareand maintain reports for all projectshandled
  • Conductperiodic analysis of production incidents and ensure Root CauseAnalysis is conducted for criticalincidents
  • Beaware of the latest technology trends standards andpractice.


Main tasks: 1. Follow up on official correspondence andcommunications received by the Executive Director s Office, whichinclude (letters, e-mails) to ensure that the necessary measuresare taken. 2. Preserving correspondence, and official documentswithin an integrated document preservation system. 3. Follow up onthe status of messages received from all sectors and departments ofthe Authority. 4. Preparing for the evaluation of the Office of theExecutive Director. 5. Covering the duties of the ExecutiveDirector s secretary during his vacation. 6. Preparing monthlyreports related to correspondence to the Executive Director. 7.Managing incoming/ outgoing correspondence from the Office of theExecutive Director through the Tarasul system. 8. Follow upco-ordination with the office of the Director General and Chairmanof the Board of Directors to ensure that all directives andinstructions of the Director General and Chairman of the Board ofDirectors are implemented. 9. Ensuring that correspondences that donot have a specific end date are not delayed for more than twomonths. 10. Ensuring that all requirements are provided on time andthat their completion is not delayed. 11. Receiving messages(forms, minutes of meetings) that require the approval of theExecutive Director and sending them to the concerned authority uponapproval. 12. Periodic follow-up and updating of the shared file.13. Following up on matters related to the Office of the ExecutiveDirector and preparing and implementing the tasks assigned to me,including minutes of meetings, PowerPointpresentations
