Customer Service:

Cash-Handling:

• Processes customer transactions ofgoods and services
• Collects cash, check, orcharge payment from customer and makes change for cashtransactions
• Uses electronic scanner to recordprices
• Weighs items, bags merchandise, andredeems food stamps and promotionalcoupons
• Monitors and manages potentialfront-end shrink
• Performs Customer ServiceAssistant duties frequently

• Demonstrate the ability to lift 35lbs, and manage in excess of 35lbs
• Successfully complete Checker training andAlcohol Seller's training
• While theremay be exceptions, the measurements noted are generally definedas--Constantly: 5.5+ hours per 8-hour day; Frequently: 2.5 - 5.5hours per 8-hour day; Occasionally: 0 - 2.5 hours per 8-hourday
• It is Partners' responsibility tonever lift beyond their own safe lifting limit. If an item is tooheavy to lift, push or pull, and / or carry, the Partner must breakthe box down into lighter, smaller, more manageable components, orask for assistance from another Partner or amanager.
