About theJob:

An exciting opportunityhas arisen for an EngineeringTechnician to join the team inJumeirah Emirates Towers. The mainpurpose of this role is to respond and cater to all the repairingand maintenance needs and requirements as needed in the BusinessUnit or highlighted by the immediate reporting manager on theshift; diagnose, repair and replace as necessary followingdepartment standard operating procedure. Your key responsibilitieswill include:

• Understand thecomplaints/issues, carry out all the relevant equipment’sto the site, diagnose the situation and the repair needs, carry outrepair, replacement and maintenance works asdirected/needed
• Respond to all inquiries in acourteous and professional manner; provide information within thearea of assignment; resolve complaints in an efficient and timelymanner
• Complete work orders, PPMs, CWAs asdirected
• Select correct materials fromengineering stores and enter logs of the materialscollected
• Organise work andequipment’s in a skilled and professionalmanner
• Maintain logs for all work performedwhile on duty within the department and those in other departmentsas required
• Respond to work orders orroom/site inspection and report any damage observed to the teamleaders and propose resolution. Highlight problems outside remitand seek guidance and direction to resolvethem
• Ensure adherence to safe workingconditions and highlight any issues that may lead to unsafe workingconditions
• Ensure that work areas are left ina safe and tidy condition and housekeeping is informed if furthercleaning is required
• Ensures that all theoperating equipment and necessary materials are available and cleanprior to the commencement of service
• Attendall training sessions and meetings on a consistent and regularbasis
• Any other duties as may reasonably berequested by the management and reportingmanager

• Ensure that high standardof personal hygiene and grooming are strictly observed andfollowed
• Develop and maintain positive workingrelationships with others; support team to reach common goals,guide and supervise general assistant wherenecessary
• Ensure adherence to departmentalpolicies, processes, standard operating procedures, andinstructions enabling delivery of luxurious service to guests andin line with Jumeirah standard of excellence
•Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety and Environment procedures,instructions, and controls and localregulations

Aboutyou:

In order to be consideredfor this role, you will have a minimum of 2 years of experience inrelevant field (Carpenter, Mason, Electrician, Plumber, Painter,Refrigeration, Mechanical etc.) preferably within the luxuryhospitality industry

You will have knowledgeof Work Order System, knowledge of high-rise buildingsystems/resorts etc.

Should be able to quicklylearn and adapt to a new work environment.
