Purpose of thejob

The role will support a busyfinance team in completing monthly information for multiple groupcompanies. You will need to provide accurate and timely informationon monthly basis to a variety of stakeholders within the financecommunity.

KeyResponsibilities

• Teammanagement & development; including objective setting,performance management and appraisals
• Managerelevant creditor accounts with an understanding of all credits onthe GL system
• Reduce creditor days and managewrite off process
• Ensure working instructionsare completed by the team for each task/process and ensuresufficient cover is in place across the department
• Make recommendations for process improvements on acontinual basis
• Supervise posting of approvedpurchase invoices and expenses
• Check andapprove weekly and monthly payment runs.
• Checkand provide commentary for creditor balance sheetreconciliations..
• Produce a monthly timetablefor the processing team.
• Advise systemadministrators of any issues, and help resolve wherepossible.
• Other ad hoc tasks requested byfinancial managers.

Knowledge, skills and experiencerequired

• Goodknowledge of excel
• Accountancyknowledge
• Good communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of SAPwould be a bonus
• Understanding and havepractical experience of financial, operational and businessprocesses
• Ability to work proactively,positively, efficiently and effectively
