Responsibilities
Asa Permanent AP Specialist, you will be responsible for thefollowing
- Managing thefull cycle of accounts payable activities including receiving,processing, verifying, and reconciling all invoices in an accurate,efficient, and timely manner.
- Utilizing ADPWorkforce Now for various AP functions, including data entry,invoice processing, and vendormanagement.
- Ensuring all financial transactionsare recorded and classified correctly in accordance with companypolicies and GAAP.
- Resolving AP issues bycoordinating with vendors and internal departments, providingoutstanding customer service at alltimes.
- Preparing weekly AP reports andassisting with month-end closingactivities.
- Participating in the developmentand implementation of new AP procedures and systems to enhanceproductivity and internalcontrols.
- Collaborating with the finance teamon various projects as needed.
Qualifications
Theideal candidate for the Permanent AP Specialist position shouldpossess the following qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of provenexperience as an AP Specialist or in a similar role within thefinance industry.
- Proficiency in using ADPWorkforce Now and other finance-relatedsoftware.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payableprinciples and procedures, as well as general accounting standards(GAAP).
- Exceptional skills in processing andmanaging a high volume of invoices accurately andefficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills,with a knack for resolving AP issues promptly andprofessionally.
- Strong communication andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively withvendors and internal teams.
- High level ofaccuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability tohandle confidential information withdiscretion.
- Bachelor’s degree inAccounting, Finance, or a related field ispreferred.
