Role Summary:
As a HR Business Partner you will assist in the administration of various human resource services and functions within a facility and division in the Middle East region.

What You Will Do:

In a division or facility setting, the job functions could include some or all of the following:

  1. Recruiting needs/planning.
  2. New employee orientation.
  3. Liaise with Regional and Corporate Human Resources.
  4. Interact with and counsel all levels of management, salaried & hourly employees, to assist and resolve a wide variety of personnel, wage/salary and benefit related issues.

Interface with Corporate Human Resources, Compensation + Benefit and Payroll personnel to assist in the administration and support of employee issues and problems in some or all of the following areas:

  1. Performance Management Process.
  2. Relocations / International Service Employee Issues.
  3. Labor Relations Issues.
  4. Communication of human resources related material.
  5. Employee Opinion Survey analysis and communication.
  6. Annual Succession Planning process.
  7. Performance of duties associated with Governmental regulations and internal investigations.
  8. Administration of payroll, salary administration, time and attendance and PeopleSoft related activities.
  9. Learning initiatives.
  10. Track and report on metrics and measurements for human resources functions and provide data to management.
  11. Various other human resources related duties.

Key Skills For Your Successful Assignment:

  1. Business Process Improvement: Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods for identifying, evaluating, introducing and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities.
  2. Information Capture: Knowledge of the methods, channels and processes to obtain needed information; ability to identify, capture and document relevant business information in an auditable, organized, understandable and easily retrievable manner.
  3. Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.
  4. Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  5. Employee Relations: Knowledge of the rights and obligations in the employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employee negotiations.
  6. HR: Policies, Standards and Procedures: Knowledge of human resource function; ability to uphold the organization's and industry's standards, procedures and policies regarding human resources management.
  7. Human Resources Consulting: Knowledge of HR approaches, tools and techniques; ability to inform, guide and advise managers in HR-related initiatives.
  8. Human Resources Operations: Knowledge of human resources (HR) policies, operational processes and considerations; ability to implement HR related tasks, processes, and projects to ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

  1. Experience gained in multinational company, from Construction, O&G, Marine, Mining or Heavy Machinery sector.
  2. 5+ years of progressive HR experience in Middle East region.
