MBA/PG Diploma in Business Mgmt (Finance), Chartered AccountantNationality: Any NationalityVacancy: 1 VacancyJob DescriptionStrategic Financial LeadershipDevelop and implement overall financial strategies aligned with the company's vision and growth objectives.Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors on major financial decisions, capital allocation, and M&A opportunities.Lead long-term financial planning and scenario analyses, ensuring the business remains adaptable in rapidly changing markets.Oversee the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and cash flow projections for the holding company and its operating subsidiaries.Analyze financial data to identify key performance indicators and trends, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.Drive cost optimization and operational efficiencies while maintaining service quality and regulatory compliance.Capital Management & FundingManage relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions to secure capital at competitive terms.Evaluate and recommend appropriate capital structures and funding strategies to support growth across multiple markets.Monitor liquidity needs, ensuring sufficient capital is available to support lending operations and expansion initiatives.Regulatory & ComplianceEnsure compliance with all applicable financial and reporting regulations across diverse jurisdictions in Sub-Saharan Africa.Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to maintain strong governance and robust internal controls.Develop and implement effective risk management frameworks to protect the company's assets and reputation.Financial Reporting & OperationsOversee the preparation and presentation of accurate consolidated financial statements to the Board, investors, and external stakeholders.Implement and maintain financial systems, processes, and policies to streamline reporting and improve transparency.Lead treasury, tax planning, payroll, and other financial operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Mentor finance managers in operating subsidiaries, providing guidance on financial best practices and strategic decision-making.Champion diversity, inclusion, and professional development within the finance organization.Desired Candidate ProfileEducation & Certification:Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) strongly desired.Experience:Minimum 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with proven track record in financial services and consumer lending, in particular.Proven track record working in emerging markets (Sub-Saharan Africa preferably).Demonstrated success managing multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction finance operations.Technical Skills & Knowledge:Deep understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards (IFRS, local GAAP, etc.).Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and ERP/financial management systems is a must.Experience with capital-raising, investor relations, and M&A transactions.Leadership & Soft Skills:Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills, fostering a high-performance environment.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and handle ambiguity with confidence and agility.#J-18808-Ljbffr
