JobResponsibilities:
Technical ProposalDevelopment:
Contribute to the development ofcomprehensive technical and commercial proposals.
Collaborate with the business development team to ensure proposalsalign with client needs industry standards and innovativesolutions.
Engineering:
Lead the preparation oftechnical inputs for the firefighting area of the project acrossdifferent design phases from master plan to detaileddesign.
Review and develop fire protection design basisreports focused on the firefighting area.
Review anddesign the firefighting drawings (schematics riser diagramslayouts) in line with the International Building Code (IBC) andrelevant National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes andstandards.
Conduct rigorous technical assessments touphold the highest quality standards.
Perform riskassessments for existing buildings and prioritize risks withcorrective action plans.
Construction &Handover:
Review shop drawings as per applicable codesand standards.
Conduct regular/periodic fire safetyinspections and generate inspection reports with action plans forcomment rectification.
Witness cause and effect and otherperformance assessment tests for fire and life safety systems &components.
Validate test certificates of materialsrelated to the fire and life safety systems.
Client andAuthority Interaction:
Interface with clients to providetechnical clarifications and address inquiries related to fire andlife safety aspects of projects.
Engage with variousauthorities to ensure projects meet all technical requirementscomplying with local regional and international fire safetystandards.
Attend workshops with the project design teamand Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) to review Fire and LifeSafety (FLS) inspection comments resolving nonconformances andaddressing coordination issues.
QualityAssurance:
Establish and enforce robust quality assuranceprocesses to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all engineeringdeliverables.
Training and Knowledge Sharing:
Conduct training sessions for internal teams and clients on thebest practices in fire and life safety.
Stay informedabout industry advancements and disseminate knowledge within theorganization to foster continuous improvement.
ProjectManagement:
Collaborate closely with other team membersto ensure the timely completion of fire and safetyrelatedtasks.

JobQualification:

B tech Degreepreferably Mechanical /Civil/ Fire Engineering
Min 8Years of experience in the field.
UAE DrivingLicense
Ready to relocate to Dubai ifrequired.
