Service Advisor

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Advisor (Female) who listens to our customer’s description of car trouble, asks follow-up questions to better assess the problem, inspects the vehicle, determines the source of the issue and provides suggestions for the best ways to fix the vehicle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Greet and welcome customers as they enter our premises.
- Ask customers to explain specific vehicle issues.
- Take detailed notes about symptoms based on customer testimony on Job Order.
- Inspect vehicle exterior and interior for scratches and damage before entering the workshop.
- Enter customer information in Job Order and into the system database.
- Inspect vehicle to further analyze the problem.
- Advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Work with customers to formulate the best service plan for their budget and needs.
- Assist mechanics in completing repairs.
- Provide cost estimates to customers.
- Answer questions posed by customers.
- Maintain electronic and/or paper records of completed service work.
- Explain the work completed by mechanics and make suggestions for future maintenance.
- Provide billing statements and explain billing details.
- Inspect work completed by mechanics.
- Before delivery, check the vehicle to ensure it is clean and tidy.
- Maintain good relations with customers.
