Position Overview We are currently seeking a highly motivated Transport Coordinator with a background in transport and logistics to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation operations of our company ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and services to our clients. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods and services including scheduling of vehicles drivers and routes Monitor and track the movement of vehicles and shipments to ensure timely delivery Communicate with clients suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient transportation operations Manage and maintain transportation records and documentation including invoices bills of lading and delivery receipts Identify and resolve any issues or delays in transportation and provide solutions to improve efficiency Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the proper maintenance and safety of all transportation equipment Develop and maintain relationships with transport service providers and negotiate contracts and rates Analyze transportation data and provide regular reports to management on key performance indicators and cost savings opportunities Train and supervise transportation staff including drivers and logistics coordinators Qualifications Bachelors degree in logistics supply chain management or a related field Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in transportation and logistics preferably in a supervisory role Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in MS Office and transportation management software Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Fluency in English both written and spoken.
