Responsibilities
  • Collaboratewith customers development teams, architects, operations teams andleadership to design and architect highly scalable, reliable, andsecure cloud solutions on the AWSplatform
  • Identifyand resolve performance and availability issues withcustomers
  • Helpcustomers monitor and optimize resource utilization to minimizecosts
  • Stayup-to-date with the latest AWS features and bestpractices
  • Theexpertise to engineer, develop, and troubleshoot largeproduction-grade distributed systems on Amazon Web Services (AWS),select the appropriate tools to tackle business problems at therightscale
  • Designing,building, and testing cloud-native applications on AWS cloudinfrastructure
  • Maintainsin-depth knowledge of cloud-related technologies, and canarticulate best practice approaches and practices
Qualifications
  • 5+years of experience engineering, developing and troubleshootinglarge production-grade distributed systems on Amazon Web Services(AWS)
  • Have‘end-to-end’ experience setting up andmaintaining an AWS environment, per best ; This would involvesetting up AWS accounts, setting up VPCs with private and publicsubnets, IAM roles, managing AMIs, EC2 AutoScalingGroups
  • Deepexperience troubleshooting EC2 instance , recovering failed EC2instances fromsnapshot
  • Abilityto understand and troubleshoot most common instance failed statuschecks
  • DeepNetwork experience, familiar with cloud network patterns such asVPC, networks, subnets, peering, security groups, and natgateways
  • DeepExperience with these services, ALB/ELB,Route53, S3, IAM,Storage
  • Experienceusing monitoring solutions like CloudWatch, ELK Stack, andPrometheus
  • Understandsthe different AWS Load balancers and proper usecase
  • UnderstandsVPCs to a great level, including security best practices, usage ofVPC peering as well as limitations of VPC peering
  • Anunderstanding of writing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), using toolslike CloudFormation orTerraform
  • Experiencetroubleshooting Linux machines (, system resource management,storage and file systems, network configuration, and soon)
  • Experiencecollaborating with developers and platform engineers, contributingto architecture and continuously optimizing infrastructure toremove bottlenecks and improveautomation
  • Excellentcommunication and presentation skills in English and Hebrew, bothwritten andverbal
