Thesuccessful candidate will lead and manage the commercial operationsfor dsmfirmenich Taste and Beyond Division in GCC countries exceptSaudi. They will be responsible to grow sales and profitabilityaccording to set objectives identifying business potential in thearea of responsibility developing successful working relationshipswith new and existing clients and establishing dsmfirmenich as akey partner for clients and obtaining briefs for profitablebusiness.


Keyresponsibilities

  • Get briefing fromclients and translate their needs into projects; communicate totechnical creation and marketing and business developmentteams.
  • Negotiate with clients commercial termsincluding payment terms prices.
  • Share regularreports on project progress new briefs sales estimates andcompetitor activity; Share client visit reports client informationand feedbacks and when needed conduct postmortem analysis on closedprojects.
  • Work closely with BusinessDevelopment and Marketing on proactive initiatives promotions andinnovation days.
  • Ensure high level of serviceto clients by managing products life cycle and forecast togetherwith customer care and supply chain departments; Work closely withsales assistant/ sales support as part of theteam.
  • To identify establish and develop aDistributor for the region of responsibility. To manage &grow the Distributor. Take the lead in onboarding new/additionalpartners.
  • Build the account sales budgetannually monitor sales and profitability versus objectives andprovide input to quarterly Sales forecast; monitor and optimize allother financial aspects of the account in particular the accountreceivables and ensure timely payment by the client of dueinvoices.

You bring
  • Bachelors in scienceCommerce or Business Development. Degree in Food Technology is aplus.
  • 510 years of experience in sellingflavors and/ or food ingredients in GCC Countries. Experience inFood Processing and/ or Manufacturing is aplus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills.
  • Excellent Influencing skills to deliverbusiness imperatives and drive different/ innovative selling styles(outside of brief driven).
  • Ability to developstrategic plans define prioritize and implement action plans toachieve targets and objectives.
  • Entrepreneurialand selfmotivator.
  • Excellent command ofEnglish. Knowledge of Hindi/ Urdu & Arabic is anadvantage.
