toolingProduct Designer at Agoda means you have a track record of:Strong foundation with Figma design tool1 – 3 years of experience working with or on design systemsExperience with design-lead user researchA portfolio of work relating to design systems or a strong comprehension of how they workSolid understanding and knowledge of design fundamentals (i.e., Gestalt, Color, Typography, Grids, etc.)An understanding of interaction, visual, and user experience designAble to articulate and explain your ideas to other designers, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholdersA strong growth mindset and team-player attitudeCare deeply about organization, file structure, and the detailsWork with Designers, Agoda Design Systems, and IT as our primary stakeholderHelp shape the design culture designs.Designing products that are intuitive and easy to use, ensuring a seamless user experience (UX).Prototyping and Wireframing:Developing low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes to demonstrate design concepts and ideas.Using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for creating digital prototypes and interactive models.Testing prototypes with users to identify pain points and iterating on designs based on feedback.Visual Design:Expertise in visual design principles, such as color theory, typography, and layout, to create aesthetically appealing products.Creating mockups and final design files for development teams to implement.Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma.Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking:Identifying design challenges and finding creative solutions to improve the functionality and aesthetics of products.Balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints in product design.Interaction Design (IxD):Designing the way users interact with products, considering user flows, transitions, and microinteractions.Ensuring the product’s usability and accessibility across different platforms and devices.Collaboration and Communication:Working closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the product design aligns with business goals and technical requirements.Presenting design concepts and rationales to stakeholders and incorporating feedback effectively.Knowledge of Material and Manufacturing Processes (For Physical Product Designers):Understanding materials and manufacturing techniques to design products that are both functional and manufacturable.Working with prototypes, 3D modeling, and CAD tools to develop tangible products for production.Branding and Design Systems:Ensuring that the product design aligns with the brand’s identity and overall design system.Developing consistent design standards and reusable UI components for cohesive product experiences.Attention to Detail:Focusing on the finer details of the design, from pixel-perfect UI elements to ergonomic physical product features.Ensuring consistency in design elements to maintain a unified user experience across different platforms or products.Soft SkillsCreativity and Innovation:Ability to think outside the box and come up with unique solutions to design challenges.Staying current with design trends, technological advancements, and user expectations.Adaptability and Flexibility:Willingness to adjust designs based on feedback, changes in business direction, or technical constraints.Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment, often needing to refine designs multiple times before final approval.Collaboration and Teamwork:Working effectively in cross-functional teams, including developers, marketers, and other designers.Facilitating discussions to gather input from various stakeholders and integrating diverse
