Key Duties and Responsibilities

Job Summary

  • Organize own and others work to achieve set deadlines
  • Independently checks the completeness & accuracy of own work prior to review by the Senior Architect or designated senior team member
  • Prepares CAD / REVIT models and other coordination software
  • Follows specific, standardized procedures to achieve set results and deadlines (as set out by the Senior Team members)
  • Proactively checks and coordinates project documents (including but not limited to multi-disciplinary drawings, design reports, technical specifications, etc.) and ensure they meet the project requirements and standards
  • Ensures accuracy and quality of discipline BIM model information, presentation, and coordination
  • Prepares various presentations related to sales requirements such as setting out, customization, perspectives etc.
  • Collaborates/communicates with other disciplines regarding coordination issues and common design
  • Regularly reviews and checks their own deliverables for accuracy, efficiency and thoroughness ensuring delivery is as per the agreements and Industry standards
  • Works with the team to communicate, solve, and update design for coordination and design issues
  • Determines solutions, methods and procedures on assignments to deliver products & services
  • Provides guidance to junior staff
  • Review designs, calculations, sketches, the construction drawings and specifications
  • Responsible, with guidance from senior team members for the preparation and compilation of design presentations and reports
  • Participates in team meetings by bringing ideas and solutions to the table
  • Develops knowledge of Lead procedures
  • Review material schedules and sample boards
  • Fully aware of local & international codes, regulations and submission requirements
  • Attend client meetings where required
  • Confidently present work to colleagues
  • Contribute to providing technical support to site supervision teams and resolving design related issues on site
Technical Competencies
  • The Position requires an architectural degree holder with experience in architecture, landscape architecture and urban planning on projects within UAE
  • 5-8 years experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Max, Sketchup, Revit, Lumion, Photoshop
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
