Job Purpose: Job Purpose:

The job exists to supervise andadminister the program and management functions within theOperational Planning Aircraft Scheduling Aircraft LifeCylceManagement and Reliability sections for all aircraft types enginesand components. Carry out the execution of technical auditinganalysis verification regulatory and performance reporting of keyairworthiness tasks reliability information ensuring that theEmirates fleet is maintained to the required standards of qualityand airworthiness as defined by the regulatory authority andEngineering Procedures Manual.

JobOutline:

• Generic:

• Supervise and providetraining and developmental opportunities to team members tofacilitate knowledge dissemination skill & processimprovements procedural awareness ensuring elimination ofinefficient methods enhanced productivity and implementation ofdepartmental improvements /system changes. Administer updates forKPI / Error measurement processes & continual improvementinitiatives. Provide supervision and guidance on a daily basis forall direct reports and team members & provide ongoingupdate to subordinate personnel based on fleet / destinationdevelopments and Corporate / Departmental financial &business performance.
• Ensure team membersadhere to the Time and Attendance policy challenge underperformanceand that every team member has a fully developed MyBC review and isprovided with continual objective feedback to ensure developmentalimprovements in line with Operational business needs &career enhancement opportunities.
• Act asdeputy for immediate supervisor and actively seek improvementopportunities within the departments and interface business unitsto create and deliver proactive beneficial changes to the group.

• Specific

Operational Planning:

• Ensure creation and applicability ofall maintenance work packages and work scope requirements from theUltramain system to ensure the ongoing maintenance andmodifications required to ensure compliance of the Emirates fleetin the Line Base and Heavy Maintenance environments.
• Ensure all work packages are analysed for loadcapacity balance and are fully resourced and estimated for manpowerand materials for handover and acceptance by the production andproduction support teams.
• Ensure that all workpackages are compliant with all regulatory requirements.
• To supervise the day to day planningactivities in the Base Ops and Base Heavy and Line Support toensure aircraft compliance is maintained through workpack creationand control. To create work packages to the same standard foroutsourced maintenance events.

Aircraft Scheduling:

• Create and publish amendments to boththe Emirates Operating Plan (issued by Commercial Planning) inorder to identify and ensure availability of aircraft downtimerequired for various maintenance checks and provide statisticalreports to concerned sections within Engineering for their advanceresource / capacity planning and necessary action.
• Provide feedback to Commercial Planning and ifnecessary conduct negotiations/ suggest alternate solutions toaccommodate Engineering requirements within the Operating Plan andthe Monthly Aircraft Movements within the Scheduling system tooptimise aircraft utilisation and establish standard rules andguidelines for use by Planning Controllers in the preparation ofDaily Aircraft Allocation and Quarterly Maintenance Plans.
• Review Daily Aircraft Allocation and QuarterlyMaintenance Plan prepared by Planning Coordinators to ensureoptimum utilisation of maintenance check frequencies compliancewith legal limitations proper staggering of maintenance inputsinclusion of all relative aircraft registrations and accurate anderror free information prior to dissemination within the Emiratesnetwork.
• Implement all actions arising fromAOG events and the daily morning Engineering briefing meetingproviding solutions coordination and active feedback onavailability of maintenance opportunities within the aircraftallocation schedule and solutions relating to operation andmaintenance requirements ensuring optimum aircraft utilisation andavoiding/ minimising operational and engineering disruption.
• Cater for ad hoc requirements such asphotoshoots and assigning specific aircraft to locations forpublicity or media reasons as requested by Corporate Communicationsor other departments as necessary.

Reliability:

• Responsible for collection ofReliability data for Systems / Components and verification of alldata for accuracy and validity. Ensure that the reliability datacollected is transformed to prepare and produce the MonthlyTechnical and Fleet Performance report or the Quarterly componentreport.
• Ensure daily processing of DelaysIncidents Flight hours and cycles data Extended Twin EngineOperations (ETOPS) parameters Engine and Auxilary Power Units (APU)performance data Pireps data processing and component unscheduleddata processing on a daily basis in the reliability informationsystem workspaces.
• Ensure that data in theworkspaces are verified and highlight anomalies in data to theoriginating departments for appropriate corrective actions and saveall verified data in the reliability information system.Responsible for executing data integrity functions that are relatedto ensuring how all engineering data can be kept valid in databasesconsidering data standards as per engineering and regulatoryrequirements.
• Responsible for Upload of Flighthours log pages delays component removal etc for Inservicedata.Track component monitoring document revision and updatereliability report and liaise with Maintenance program for revisionupdate. Assist in Technical review meeting delays/Pilot Reports(PIREPs)/ Components trend analysis Technical Review Meeting (TRM)agenda analysis
• Conduct Delay trend analysisfor top 10 ATA and highlight the same. Carry out Severity Indexcalculations based on Delays incidents cancellations InFlight ShutDown diversion Air Turn back Ground Incidents and highlight concernareas. Publish and keep all records updated on the centralrepository.
• Prepare the Weekly FleetPerformance report monthly Executive dashboard and the weeklyOriginal Equipment Manufacturers reports. Maintain the distributionlists for all such Reliability periodic reports and ensuredistribution as per procedures.
• ConductDelay/Incident/ trend analysis for significant items and highlightto Engineers. Create backup data every 6 months for all criticalreliability data for system and components from network and orlocal hard drives.

Asset Life Cycle Management (ALCM):

• Responsible for the preparation auditand approval of documentation as per the ALCM Standards Manual tosupport EndOfLease (EOL) activity for aircraft engines landinggears and other relevant assets. In addition ensure all thesedocumentation is uploaded into Stream and given the appropriateapprovals.
• Act as a focal point for theLessorss specific queries relating to the documentation standardsproduced. Ensure all queries raised by the Lessor are answered andclosed off within the specific timeframes of the EOL project.
• Responsible for ensuring accurate preparationand presentation of documentation to support Airworthiness ReviewCertificate (ARC) audits Periodic Compliance Audits (PCA) andMaintenance Compliance Audits (MCA) submittals. Ensuring each isaudited and discrepancies highlighted investigated and necessaryCorrective/Preventative Actions and Route Cass Analysis completed.Ensuring suggestions are put forward for continued improvements anderror process elimination.
• Develop improve andimplement processes to continually optimise and reduce costoverheads through implementation of new technology and proceduresto best level maximum efficiencies. Develop and manage RoboticProcess Automation (RPA) activities and ensure processes exist todetail its use along with manhour / system improvements andbenefits. Provide detailed Key Performance Indicator reporting andimplement continuous improvements ensuring effective LEANprocedures.
• If required be part of the ProjectTeam responsible for Outsourced Maintenance activities where dutieswill include scanning and uploading of completed documentation intoStream updating of component transactions in Ultramain ensurepackage closure in Ultramain once a Certificate Of Release has beenissued by the Maintenance and Repair Organisation. Updation ofnonroutine data into Ultramain.
• Be responsiblefor the oversight and management of the fleets engine and landinggear activities relating to ensuring receipt of adequateoverhaul/airworthiness documentation build records updation inUltramain and document archiving through Stream online repository.
• Organise the functional sections resources torecord and administer maintenance records ensuring AirworthinessCompliance Asset LifeCycle controls safety and quality standardsare maintained. Coordinate with key Stakeholders for reporting andremedial nonconformance action. Administer compliance errormeasurement findings to eliminate process and procedurediscrepancies. Ensure that the activities arising from Departmentsection briefings are resourcedeffectively.

Qualifications& Experience: :

• 12 Yearsschooling or equivalent
• Holders of a Degree inEng Aeronautical subjects Mechanical Avionics Electronic TechEngineering with 2 years of experience is acceptable.

Experience :

• Engineering. Planning : 5 Years
• Experience in Engineering Planning
• Experience required in Maintenance Planning /Aircraft Scheduling or other associated Technical SupportOrganisation with at least 2 years experiencecoordinating/supervising a team.

Knowledge/skills:

• Must be fully conversantwith Aircraft Documentation and Records including AMM IPC WorkPackages and Maintenance schedules.
• Must havean understanding of Aircraft / Power Plant Systems and Components.
• Sound knowledge of computer applications (e.g.MS Office).
• Knowledge & use of Airline/ MRO M&E Data Management & Digital DocumentationsSystems is preferred.
• Knowledge &experience in the application & administration of AircraftRegulatory & Legislation requirements associated withAirworthiness Compliance & Management.
• QA Authorisation Stamp Approvals for TRfunctions 3 4 and 5preferred.
