Key Responsibilities
Lead audits for Dubai-based internal audit entities and produce final draft reports with concise issues and action plans. Communicate audit results to senior business, audit management, and regulators. Assist IAG senior management in developing and executing the annual risk‑based global audit plan. Influence business in remediating control issues and actively monitor audit activities progress. Collaborate across global functional audit teams to provide an integrated and coordinated approach to insurance risks and audit testing. Represent the internal audit function as part of the local Senior Management team. Communication and Working Relationships Internal: Internal Audit Group and stakeholders from all functions (Staff Members to EMEA Function and Cluster Leads) External: CB of UAE and External Auditors Qualifications & Education University degree – completing an accredited training course in insurance or related fields. A certified professional qualification (e.g. CIA, CPA, CISA, CRISC, CISSP) is preferred. Experience Audit experience within the Insurance Industry. Experience as a manager of one of the insurance departments of any duly licensed insurance company in UAE. Experience in managing relationships with Regulators, Company Boards and Audit Committees. Training & Knowledge Audit and Insurance related trainings preferred. IIA Standards. Proficiency with data analysis tools (MS Excel, Access, ACL, IDEA, Qlikview, Tableau etc.). Deep knowledge of applicable industry laws and regulations. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Key Competencies Deep knowledge of applicable industry laws and regulations. Strong relationship management (Business Management, Board, Regulators). Collaborative and results‑oriented. Strong English communication skills. Critical and strategic thinking.
