  • Provide input to thepreparation of Technical Work Practices (TWP’s) andStandards
  • Supporting the Planning, schedulingand execution of discipline activities and deliverables, includingmanhour estimating and schedule preparation to support bid /tendering as required.
  • To identify any areas ofconcern with respect to progress and / or quality and recommendcorrective actions as required
  • To attend weeklyinternal and external progress meetings and generate status reportsfor the Engineering / Project Manager
  • To ensureall team members are competency assessed and maintain thecompetency of the team in line with company and Clientrequirements
  • Define minimum acceptance criteriaand Undertake pre qualification of thirdparties
  • Liaise and engage with Licensors,Equipment Vendors and OEM’s as required to conclude theproject deliverables in accordance with the project scope andprovide third party budget costs for stage gate estimates asrequired.
  • Define scope of work for 3rd Partysub contracts as required.
  • Preparation ofTender Bid Evaluations and assessment ofbids
  • Review of Vendor Documents on DetailedEngineering Projects
  • Provide input to EPC scopeof work and EPC Tender Rotating for EXECUTEstage
  • To co - ordinate with other disciplinesduring all stages of design development, construction, pre -commissioning, and start – up to ensure there is noconflict within the overall engineeringdesign
  • To provide technical support to site interms of material inspection, Factory Acceptance Testingetc
  • Ensure compliance with management of changeprocesses both technical and financial
  • Toprovide direction and guidance on technical queries relating tomechanical engineering and raise appropriate EQ’s /deviations
  • To participate in all project safetyand design reviews as necessary
  • To ensure thatall work is completed without compromise to quality and isdelivered according to the projectschedule
