Emirates Flight Training is a modern,progressive department that utilises Competency Based Training andAssessment (CBTA) methodology in all our courses and is one of thefew full Evidence Based Training (EBT) operators worldwide. Throughcontinuous professional development and standardisation, you canexpect to be trained and developed in the most up to date trainingmethodologies to ensure you meet the exacting standards required byEmirates.

Reporting to the respective fleetTraining Manager the SFI will be responsible for conductingtraining relevant to their training qualification as required bythe General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and theCompany.

JobAccountabilities:

  • Conduct FSTD typerating, recurrent training, recency training and ground school inline with the company requirements.
  • Completeand submit accurate detailed reports and assessments of pilotsunder training in accordance with company guidance and policy viathe existing electronic reportingsystem.
  • Recommend additional or remedialtraining for trainee pilots who are not progressing at anacceptable rate as per expected performancestandards.
  • Provide recommendations to trainingmanagement for any changes that may improve efficiency, safety,quality of training and standardize procedures and teachingtechniques.
  • Support with ad hoc projects,course development and other tasks asrequired.

Eligible SFI candidates will have theopportunity to upgrade to Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE) based onCompany requirements.

Qualifications &Experience

Hold or have held a CPL (CommercialPilot License), MPL (Multi-crew Pilot License) or ATPL (AirlineTransport Pilot License).

Experience:

• Minimum12 months as an activeInstructor/Examiner.

• Minimum 1500hours flight time as a pilot on multi-pilotaeroplane.

Knowledge/skills:

•Previous instructional/examiner experiencepreferred.
