About the School A highly respected American curriculum school in Sharjah is seeking a qualified and passionate Female Physics Teacher to join its science faculty. The school is committed to delivering a rigorous and engaging learning experience based on the USA Common Core and NGSS standards, with a strong focus on student achievement and holistic development. Key Responsibilities Teach Physics at the middle and high school level following the USA Common Core and NGSS framework. Design and deliver engaging, hands‑on lessons that promote inquiry‑based learning and critical thinking. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback. Use differentiated instruction strategies to support a diverse range of learners. Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and school‑wide initiatives. Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Physics or a related science field (Master’s degree preferred). Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent). Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a similar curriculum (Common Core or NGSS experience preferred). Female applicants only (due to gender‑specific teaching requirements in UAE schools). Strong subject knowledge, classroom management, and communication skills. Culturally responsive, adaptable, and student‑centered. Must be western trained (USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand & South Africa) and a native speaker of English. Newly Qualified Teachers are NOT considered. Preferred: experience with the IB Curriculum or USA curriculum such as American Harcourt, AP and Common Core. Beneficial: experience working in the Middle East or with non‑native speakers of English.
