  • Design and develop in closecollaboration with GID and implement and manage the Compliancetraining and communications strategy to addressPetrofac’s key compliancerisks.
  • Manage the design, implementation androll out manage effective Compliance systems, tools, and processes,to prevent and detect Petrofac’s key compliancerisks.
  • Act as the Compliance focal point for anallocated business unit, to ensure engagement with the business andto provide support and advice for the business to meet its businessgoals compliantly.
  • Manage a number of high-riskinvestigations as directed by the GID
  • Holdstrong business relationships/partnerships with variousstakeholders of the compliance training and communications strategy(including but not limited to Communications, Operations, IT, HRand external third parties) to ensure delivery of the compliancetraining and communications program.
  • Workclosely with various stakeholders to identify Petrofac’scompliance training and communicationsneeds.
  • Work with internal and externalstakeholders including suppliers to develop and deliver appropriatetraining and communications material.
  • Develop amethodology for maintaining training and communications records andcriteria to measure effectiveness of the training andcommunications plan.
  • Manage the design,implementation and roll out of effective Compliance systems, toolsand processes, including the conflict of interest and gifts andentertainment systems and annual declarationprocess.
  • Develop appropriate reporting tools totrack metrics relating to training and communications, conflict ofinterest, gifts and entertainment and the annual declarationprocess.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate Grouppolicies, standards or procedures governing compliance training andcommunications, systems and processes.
  • Act asCompliance focal point for allocated business unit(s), includingworking with the relevant business unit head closely on compliancerelated matters, to foster collaboration and understanding betweenthe compliance department and the business.
  • Bea point of escalation for direct reports in relation to each of theelements of the compliance program managed by the team and supportdirect report’s development.
  • Supportand provide input into projects managed by other members of thesenior compliance management team as required, especially theInvestigations Team by managing a number of high-riskinvestigations.
  • Ability to use own initiativeto facilitate problem solving across the compliance department andthe wider business.
  • Ability to lead complianceprojects, including liaising with and managing multiple keystakeholders, to ensure project delivery on time withoutcompromising on quality.
  • Fact based approachand attention to detail – comfortable operating in adetailed, fact-based environment.

Essential Qualifications AndSkills

  • Bachelor’s degree in law,Finance, Business or Economics.
  • Strongunderstanding of Petrofac Business Units andoperations.
  • Working knowledge of the Compliancediscipline, particularly in relation to the delivery of robustCompliance programs.
  • Criticaljudgement/analytical skills and ability to quickly identify andunderstand compliance risks.
  • Conscientious andmethodical with excellent attention to detail, highly organized andcapable of managing conflicting priorities anddeadlines.
  • Ability to interact and influencediscussions with the business andfunctions.
  • Strong written and verbalcommunication skills, with the ability to communicate across alllevels with internal and external stakeholders such as clients,compliance service providers and Petrofacemployees.
  • Excellent presentation and listeningskills.
  • Outgoing, excellent team buildingskills, ability to maintain confidentiality andobjectivity.
  • Proactivelycoaches/mentors’ colleagues within the compliancedepartment and across the widerbusiness.
  • Experience in working alongside ateam of professionals with diverse competencies and experience(e.g., Accountants, Internal Auditors, Engineers, Lawyers, Finance,etc.)
  • Experience of working with differentgeographies and in a multiculturalenvironment.
  • Experience in dealing with thirdparties’ providers of compliance relatedservices.
  • Understanding of the business risksand the internal control environment ofPetrofac.
  • Fully competent with PetrofacManagement and Leadership Behaviours at Managerlevel.
  • 7-12 years of experience in RiskManagement, Auditing or Compliance.
  • Oil and gasexperience preferred.
