  • Develop the identified opportunitiesfor continuous improvement of systems, processes and practicestaking into account 'international leadingpractice' and changes in business environment andleveraging insights. This includes leading and directing therelated change management efforts
  • Oversee andguide the preparation, recommendation and monitoring of thecompany's budget in alignment with the respective annualbusiness plan, and ensure accurate and timely reporting onfinancial performance
  • Oversee the developmentof appropriate financial performance management processes takinginto account the business strategy and plan, and ensure that allorganisational initiatives are financiallyviable
  • Guide the development and maintenance offinancial models and detailed forecasts of theorganisation's futureoperations
  • Develop financial / risk impactanalysis in coordination with Treasury, Risk Management andBusiness Continuity Management (BCM)
  • Supportthe M&A team in financial due diligence process forpotential mergers and acquisitions, including financial analysis,risk assessment, and integration planning (ifrequired)
  • Ensure financial ramifications ofregulatory decisions are documented, understood and communicated torelevant stakeholders to minimise unanticipated impact tofinancials
  • Serve as a conduit between LegalAffairs and the relevant finance teams and work closely with theregulatory team members to ensure all financial requirements forthe regulator are met in a timely manner
  • Managethe preparation and submission of regulatory financial reports (asapplicable), including income statements, balance sheets, cash flowstatements, and other financial documents, ensuring that they areaccurate, complete, and delivered
  • Oversee thepreparation of periodic and ad-hoc internal reports for Managementto support decision-making
  • Review allrequirements of reports from Senior Management and shareholders(flash, business performance reports, scorecards, dashboards, andfinancial KPIs)
  • Oversee the implementation ofdata solutions, reports and dashboards to provide Management withon-demand visibility of the organisation's financialperformance
  • Develop strategy in analysing anddelivering insights that link financial reports to businessstrategies. i.e., acting as the conduit between the business andthe relevant finance teams
  • Provide effectivecommercial procedures, or initiate change, to ensure that keyoperational, commercial and financial targets aredelivered
  • Build partnerships and maintainstrong relationships with all business leaders and their teamsacross the organisation
  • Actively monitor thecompany's financial performance against budgets andforecasts, identifying risks and opportunities, and providingrecommendations to senior management for correctiveactions
  • Oversee the development, maintenanceand implementation of the tariff management strategy and framework,ensuring maximum profitability and compliance to applicable lawsand regulations
  • Collaborate with the ExecutiveManagement Team (EMT) to ensure tariff management activities arealigned to business strategy
  • Engage withcritical stakeholders (e.g., regulatory authorities, etc.),ensuring compliance and alignment on tariffactivities

The Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in finance,accounting or a relateddegree.
  • Master's degree ispreferred
  • Professional certificates arepreferred (i.e., ACCA, CFA, etc.)
  • Minimum of 12years in accounting, finance and or a relatedfield
