  • Bachelor's degree in CivilEngineering.
  • Master's Degree in WaterEngineering/Hydrology would be anadvantage
  • Minimum 12 years experience in waterengineering, including stormwater drainage design in civil andtransport projects, stormwater management, andplanning.
  • Minimum 6 years of UAE/ GCCexperience is essential and familiar with the Dubai Municipalitydesign standards.
  • Sound knowledge of principlesof hydrology and hydraulics.
  • Demonstratedunderstanding of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling/design softwarepackages used in the design of surface drainage, piped networks,cross drainage, and flood analysis, i.e., CAD skills, SWMM, HECRAS, and HEC-HMS knowledge.
  • Experience withInfoworks ICM, 1D/2D is compulsory.
  • Excellentcommand with GIS and CAD tools such as ArcMap, AutoCAD, Civil 3D,and Microstation.
  • The capability of mathematicsto create calculation sheets and perform further calculations whererequired to ensure the design isappropriate.
  • Knowledge of Water SensitiveDesign and Sustainable Drainage Design(SuDS).
  • Strong verbal and written communicationskills.
  • Excellent organizationalskills.
  • A collegiate, team-playerattitude.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) qualified(or equivalent) or well-progressed towardsqualification.
  • Ability to work within amulti-disciplinary team and encouragecollaboration.
