As a Data Entry Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining and updating company databases. You will accurately input and manage large volumes of data, ensuring its integrity and accuracy. Your attention to detail, speed, and ability to work with various data processing software will contribute to the efficient functioning of the organization.

Responsibilities

  1. Input and update data in the company's database systems with speed and accuracy.
  2. Verify data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering information.
  3. Organize and maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems.
  4. Prepare and distribute reports, documents, and presentations as required.
  5. Ensure data integrity by regularly performing data cleaning and verification activities.
  6. Generate and distribute data-related documents, including data entry guidelines and procedures.
  7. Identify and resolve data discrepancies and errors.
  8. Collaborate with department heads to gather and analyze data for reporting purposes.
  9. Assist in the development and implementation of data entry processes and standards.
  10. Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to data protection policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  2. Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or in a similar role.
  3. Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
  4. Proficiency in using data entry software and tools.
  5. Familiarity with data processing and analysis techniques.
