Over the last 20 years, Givehas partnered with hundreds of companies from largeoneslike ICICI, HDFC, TCS, Google,Microsoft, Amex, KPMG, Coca-Cola to new age start-upslikeFlipkart, Ola, Myntra andothers to shape the employee giving narrative across India. WhenCOVID hit India, we launched the India COVID Response Fund(ICRF)and partnered withvariousinstitutions globally to deployover 800 Crores of Give Grants (CSR, Foundation Grants&Employee Giving). Building uponthis work, Give launched its Give Grants platform in late 2021 withthe objective to make Institutional Giving bigger andbetter.

We believe that India needsGive Grants at significant scale, and with far better impactoutcomes to solve for India s SDG challenges and investment gap.Based on our experience of Covid Relief, where we rapidly createdopportunities and solutions for mobilizing and effectivelydeploying hundreds of crores, we believe we can be an end to endgiving partner for institutions spanning strategy, design,deployment, compliance and impact assurance.

We also believe that there aresignificant opportunities to not just drive more effective usage offunds earmarked for the social impact sector, but also to bring inadditional funds by creating leverage opportunities. We do thisalready through our collective (multi donor) programs;crowdfunding, workplace giving and fundraiser models and each ofthese can be scaled further.

Our go to marketstrategy for Give Grants has three components in the near term -
  • sharpfocus on CSR giving in India - build deep relationships with CSRdecision makers and provide services for grant management, programmanagement, impact reporting and CSR advisory. A 15 member Indiabased team is executing this strategy.
  • growworkplace giving and UHNI giving from the US to India - we recentlyentered into a strategic partnership with Indiaspora in the US, a 3member US based team is setting up this vertical, using Give sexpertise and Indiaspora snetwork.
  • acomprehensive tech platform to enable better decision making forinstitutional giving - Give has a market leading SaaS platform formanaging CSR giving that serves 75+ organizations. This platform,combined with our services, has enabled us to become an end to endpartner for give grants.

We arebuilding one of the world's best tech platforms for CSR, where weprovide opportunities for people to donate to any cause, non-profitor geography that they care about, in the most simple, personalizedand effective manner. We scale our impact on the lives of millionsof underprivileged people every year through our workplace giving,subscription giving, institutional giving and crowdfundingproducts.


Give islooking for an experienced and motivated DevOps professional to bean integral part of its cloud infrastructure team. As a DevOpsEngineer, you must be able to troubleshoot infrastructure issues,design, implement, and deploy DevOps tools, collaborate with otherengineering team members to improve the existing cloudinfrastructure and develop new engineering / DevOps tools, optimizecompany's cloud architecture, design and conduct security,performance, availabilitytests.


Responsibilities:

This is a highly accountablerole and the candidate must meet the following professionalexpectations.

  • Owning andimproving the scalability and reliability of ourproducts.

  • Workingdirectly with product, engineering and infrastructureteams.

  • Designingand developing various monitoring systemtools.

  • Accountablefor developing deployment strategies and building configurationmanagement.

  • Deployingand updating system and applicationsoftware.

  • Developtooling and processes to drive and improve customer experience, andcreateplaybooks.

  • Ensureregular, effective communication with team members andcross-functionalresources.

  • Maintain apositive and supportive workculture.

  • First pointof contact for handling customer (usually internal stakeholders)issues, providing guidance and recommendations to increaseefficiency and reduce anyincidents.

  • Intelligentlymigrate services from one AWS region to other AWSregions.

  • Create,implement and maintain security policies to ensure ISO/GDPR/SOC/PCIcompliance.

  • Verifyinfrastructure automation meets compliance goals and disasterrecoveryplans.

  • Evangelizeconfiguration management and automation to other productdevelopers.

  • Keepthemselves updated with upcoming technologies to build &maintain the state-of-the-artinfrastructure.


Requirements:

  • 4+ years ofproven experience working in a DevOpsenvironment.

  • 4+ years ofproven experience working in AWS Cloudenvironments.

  • A solidunderstanding of Kubernetes and docker containerization is amust.

  • Experiencewith infrastructure tools/frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform,Chef, Puppet, CFEngine,etc.

  • Experiencein scripting or programming languages (Bash, Python, PHP, Node.js,Perl,etc.)

  • Experiencedesigning and building web application environments on AWS,including services such as EKS, ECS, ECR, Foregate, Lambda, SNS /SQS, CloudFront, Code Build, Code pipeline, Configuring CloudWatch,WAF, Active Directories, Kubernetes (EKS), EC2, S3, ELB, RDS,Redshiftetc.

  • Hands-on inlogging, monitoring and alerting tools like ELK, Grafana, Metabase,Monit, Zabbixetc.

  • StrongKnowledge in DBs such as MongoDB / MySQL / DynamoDB / Redis /Cassandra /Elasticsearch.

  • Experiencewith Open Source and tools such as Haproxy, Apache, Nginx andNagiosetc.

  • Fluency withversion control systems with a preference forGit.

  • Solidunderstanding of networking and security bestpractices.

  • StrongLinux-based infrastructures, and Linuxadministration.

  • Experienceworking in an Agile, fast-paced, DevOpsenvironment.

  • A teamplayer capable of high performance, flexibility in a dynamicworking environment and the ability tolead.

  • Skill andability to train others on technical and proceduraltopics.

  • Ability towork under high pressure and minimumsupervision.
