Responsible for all management aspects,including day-to-day work allocation and supervision, of the PMCEngineering group and the oversight of the Contractor during theEngineering, Procurement phases of theProject.

To ensure PMC Engineering personnel arecompetent to perform their duties relating to the scope of work asidentified in the PMC Contract.

To provideleadership in the development and implementation of engineeringprocesses, procedures and systems operating within the Engineeringgroup.

To ensure the Engineering group isresourced with the correct disciplines and size to deliver againstthe requirements of the PMC Contract.

To provideindependent Project Management Consultancy services and technicalopinion, and advice related to short falls, recovery plans,minimizing potential risks and maintaining overall Project progressduring the Engineering and Procurement phases in theContractor's Home Offices.

Participatingin the design review and analysis consistent with requirements,including consideration of constructability, testability,operability, and maintainability, system interactions;environmental considerations; personnel safety and fire protection;and proper selection of materials.

Ensuring theorderly technical review coordination, and processing of vendordocuments.

Securing approval from the Owner forthe Engineering design in accordance with the Contractrequirements.

Manage the day today interfacingbetween the Projects and the disciplines of Piping, Mechanical,Structural, and E&I and specialistdisciplines.

Participate in key customer reviewsand meetings as required.

Conduct successionplanning within the engineering team, especially for keyroles.

Implement competence assessments andregular performance assessments with Team.

Ensureteam know and work to procedures in order to be efficient and rightfirst time.

Provide development opportunities forpersonnel - to increase breadth of experience andcapability.

Site visits to demonstrate safetyleadership.

Develop and maintain effectiveworking practices for the Wood project managementteam
