Analyst – Treasury Risk Transguard Workforce Solutions is the UAE’s leading provider of innovative HR solutions. Job Purpose: Responsible for supporting the Treasury Risk team in the daily management of Counterparty Risk, Market Risk, Structural/Balance Sheet Risk and Liquidity Risk, aiming at adherence with regulatory norms. This includes developing, implementing and optimizing models, policies, procedures and controls required to enable risk to be managed within appetite and prevent unexpected loss to the company. Job Responsibilities Production of daily reporting of Counterparty Risk, Market Risk and Investment portfolio metrics and sensitivities (i.e. PFE, XVA, Settlement Risk, DV01, CS01, VaR, Backtesting, Stress Testing, concentration). Production of monthly reporting of Structural / Balance Sheet and Liquidity Risk metrics and sensitivities (i.e. EVE, NII, Liquidity Gap, ELAR, LCR). Perform analysis of the day‑on‑day movements in metrics and provide meaningful comments on the main drivers. Focus on automating existing reporting in VBA / Python. Support the treasury operations by reviewing pre‑deal checks. As second line, validate the models used to calculate valuations, and own/maintain the IRRBB behaviour models. Independent price verification. Maintain process documentation for all activities performed. Skills Master’s in financial or analytical/quantitative discipline preferred. Professional certification such as FRM is an added advantage. Coding skills in VBA / Python. A minimum of 2 years in a local or international financial institution with exposure to Treasury risk. Good understanding of Treasury products from a pricing, market and counterparty risk point of view.
