We are looking forcandidates who are currently working/staying in Sharjah as MedicalUnderwriters with Insurance brokers preferably hence you can targetcandidates from Sharjah based insurance brokers. Salary range isAED 4 to AED6K.

KeyResponsibilities

Check and verifythe data and other relevant information provided by the Direct /Sales Team on Medical Enquiries and float the enquiries to theInsurance Companies to obtain the desired terms within theTAT.

Negotiating onthe policy rates and terms with the InsuranceCompanies.

Manage therelationship with InsuranceCompanies.

Ensure thatcustomers have competitive quotes according to theirrequirements.

Providingadequate support to theTeam.

Uponconfirmation of business placing the policies with respectiveInsurance Companies within theTAT.

Maintaining thedaily/weekly/monthly Quotations tracker with proper updates andsharing the same with the head of the department.

Allthe emails and calls must be acknowledged and replied to internaland externalclients.

Actively obtainreferrals for cross sell and other valueaddedservices.

Preparing reporton pending enquiries/quotes / placing slips and coordinating withtheteam.

Actively resolvecustomer complaints and highlight the same to team ahead andmanagement.

Togain adequate knowledge of all theproducts.

Achieve monthlytargets.


QualificationsExperience & SkillsRequired:

Bachelors degreeorequivalent.

Proven insuranceunderwritingexperience.

Sound technicalknowledge of group insurance products and other aspects ofinsuranceprocessing.

Effectivecommunication and peopleskills.

Sensiblejudgement anddiligence.

Ability to workeffectively within a teamenvironment.

Experience inhandling Microsoft Office Tools and Analyticaltools.

Background ofmedical knowledge is anadvantage.

Ability toprioritise workload and manage timeeffectively.
