Vacancy Job Description
  • Conduct outdoor sales activities such as cold calling, door-to-door visits, and attending industry events.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans targeting architects, contractors, and builders to increase market penetration in the building materials sector.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Analyze sales metrics and market trends to identify growth opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Lead product presentations and demonstrations, showcasing the unique features and benefits of building materials to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring competitive positioning while maintaining profitability.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional materials that effectively communicate product value propositions.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts for management, analyzing performance against targets and suggesting actionable insights.
  • Train and mentor junior sales team members, sharing best practices and strategies for effective client engagement.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about competitor activities, emerging trends, and customer preferences in the building materials industry.
  • Attend industry trade shows and networking events to promote products, gather leads, and enhance professional visibility.
  • Present and demonstrate products or services to potential customers, highlighting their features and benefits.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to generate sales opportunities.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing and product development to identify and address customer needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and evaluate market demand.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and sales skills through trainings and self-learning.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the building materials industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of product specifications and applications.
  • Professional certifications in sales or project management, such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Project Management Professional (PMP), are preferred.
  • Experience working with construction firms, architects, and distributors, showcasing a robust network within the industry.
  • Nationality preference may vary based on market location; candidates with local market knowledge are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced sales environment, with a strong focus on results and customer needs.
  • Strong technical skills related to building materials, including knowledge of installation processes, product performance, and regulatory standards.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages, particularly Arabic or Spanish, is a plus for regional engagement.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude, coupled with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
