Mechanical DesignEngineer (Sales Engineering) - TYMETAL Corp. TYMETAL Corp. has arewarding full-time opportunity for a Design Engineer to workclosely with our sales team in our Greenwich, NY office. Thisindividual will work with sales and our customers on new productdesign and modifications that resolve the customers'security concerns. This position is a key driver in new productdevelopment and innovation based on customer feedback. Fully paid life insurance and disabilityprotection plans Responsibilities of our Mechanical DesignEngineer: Work closely with the Engineering Manager, the OperationsManager and the Sales Department on new product development, designmodifications to existing products and changes in manufacturingmethods to improve manufacturing.

Interfacewith customers in person, in writing and over the telephone tomanage projects, provide technical support and/or requestclarification as needed.

Thoroughly andcompletely review job specifications and plans prior todisseminating design or other technicalinformation.

Accurately create dimensionedshop submittal drawings of manufactured products and parts to beused to obtain customer approval and support productinstallation.

Accurately perform all necessarydesign calculations required in the development of submittaldrawings.

Develop and provide an accurate andcomplete bill of all materials and routings that will be usedduring project quoting and estimatingefforts.

Provide technical assistance asneeded to all associates. Qualifications of our Mechanical DesignEngineer: BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentexperience/degree.

5-7 years of experience asa Design Engineer supporting the saleseffort.

Experience with new productdevelopment, bringing products from concept toproduction.

Steel And AluminumManufacturing And Fabrication ExperiencePreferred.

Strong mechanicalaptitude and math skills.

SolidWorks andAutoCAD proficiency.
