The HR Officer in healthcare supports variousHR functions to ensure the HR department operates effectively. Thisincludes assisting with recruitment employee relations compliancetraining and development benefits administration and performancemanagement. The HR Officer helps the HR Manager/Director maintain ahighquality workforce dedicated to exceptional patientcare.

KeyResponsibilities:

Recruitment andStaffing:

  • Assist withjob postings application screening interview coordination andreference checks.
  • Support new employeeonboarding including preparing orientation materials and conductingsessions.

EmployeeRelations:

  • Addressemployee inquiries and assist in resolving workplaceissues.
  • Help develop and implement employeeengagement activities.

Compliance and PolicyManagement:

  • Ensurecompliance with employment laws andregulations.
  • Maintain and update employeerecords and HR documentation.
  • Assist indeveloping and communicating HR policies.

Training andDevelopment:

  • Coordinate training sessions andworkshops.
  • Maintain training records and assistin evaluating program effectiveness.

BenefitsAdministration:

  • Assistwith benefits enrollment changes and claimsprocesses.
  • Provide information on benefitsprograms and eligibility.

PerformanceManagement:

  • Supportthe performance appraisal process including tracking andmaintaining schedules.
  • Assist managers inpreparing performance evaluations.

HR AdministrativeSupport:

  • Maintain andupdate HR databases and systems.
  • Prepare HRreports and presentations.
  • Assist in organizingHR events and meetings.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degreein Human Resources Business Administration or a relatedfield.

Experience:Minimum of 2 years of HR experience preferably inhealthcare.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of HR principles andpractices.
  • Excellent interpersonal andcommunication skills.
  • Ability to handlesensitive informationconfidentially.
  • Proficiency in HR software andMicrosoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizationaland timemanagement skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Operates in a healthcare setting withoccasional travel to variousfacilities.
  • Requires professionalism andconfidentiality.
