Job description

We arelooking for an Assistant Project Planning Analyst to join our teamin Dubai to implement and monitor planning processes to ensureefficient delivery of the projects.

Mainresponsibilities:

  • Support in thepreparation and creation of project plans for major projects andengineering planning on Primavera P6/MSProject.
  • Analyzing data sets from engineeringinstallation and manufacturing with an ability to understand trendsand projections.
  • Plan and control projectscheduling structure and report progress.
  • Provide the weekly and monthly progress updates to Planning Managerforecast completions together with critical path and trendanalyses.
  • Support in providing comprehensivecost engineering management reports within the projects for alllevels by cost control and analysis.
  • Establishes cost baselines for project activities based onaward
    value/estimates maintain budgets and analyze actualagainst set up budgets.
  • Support in thepreparation of internal and external reporting tools for progressmeasurement such as follow ups and dashboards.
  • Maintain existing tools and work on their continuousimprovement

Profile

Whatyou bring (experience &qualifications)

  • Minimum 2 yearsexperience predominantly in a planning or analyticsrole.
  • 2 years of experience using schedulingsoftware
  • Degree in engineering or businessmanagement would be preferable.
  • Good knowledgeof engineering/design scope job working instruction / proceduresgood project control practices in planning and scheduling andoverall awareness of projects.
  • Knowledge of MSProject and/or Primavera P6
  • Foundationknowledge of Excel specifically with pivot tables
  • Power BI knowledge or qualification would beanadvantage.
