You’ll also be responsible for the elimination of food spoilage, contamination, and waste. You will prepare, cook and present food adhering to food safety standards, learning new and exciting skills along the way. You’ll be up to date with latest culinary trends, be creative and skilled in the art of cookery. Previous experience in a high-end restaurant or fine dining environment. You’ll have a collaborative approach to working alongside the Sous Chef in the development and execution of new menu ideas. Experience with Basque or Spanish cuisine preferred You’ll have strong leadership and organizational skills, ability to control costs, excellent attention to detail. Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic. English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language. Additional languages such as Spanish are an advantage.
