  • Will supervise all the tests andsampling on site.
  • Witness all the laboratorytests and in situ tests by contractor or third-party tester on thematerials and prepare the samples fortesting.
  • Coordinate with the Work Inspector incharge of the work to confirm approval of the work for testing anddiscuss areas of concern.
  • Perform sampling andtesting in quick and efficient way to avoid undue delay to theContractor’s operations.
  • Performregular checks of delivered materials to the site for conformancewith the approved source or supplier.
  • Getinvolved in quality control and qualityassurance.
  • Assists the Senior Work Inspector(Materials) and the Senior Materials Engineer in all activitiesrelated to review, approval, testing and acceptance of the usedmaterials.

What Required SkillsYou'll Bring

  • Technical diploma or degree in arelated field with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience insimilar nature or Civil Engineering graduate with a minimum ofthree (3) years’ experience on roads, bridges, concreteand utilities projects.
  • Must possess theability to read working drawings, related specifications,inspection and test plans and method statements and be capable ofenforcing such specifications and contractdrawings.
  • Must be fully computer literate andable to utilize computer technology to access data, maintainrecords, generate reports, etc. and any project specificengineering and construction relevantsoftware.
  • Good written and oral communication,and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability tointeract effectively with projectteam.
